About Dr. Jason Parks

Jason is a results-driven executive with a 25-year track record of transformational leadership across the corporate, nonprofit, and faith-based sectors. Known for his strategic vision and ability to mobilize people and resources, Jason has built scalable organizations, influenced national conversations on leadership, and delivered measurable impact at the local, regional, and international levels.

He is the CEO of The People Driven Leader, a leadership consulting firm specializing in inspiring keynotes, executive coaching, and professional development. Through his work, Jason has equipped thousands of professionals, from emerging leaders to C-suite executives, with actionable strategies to drive organizational culture and lead through complexity.

Jason also serves as Senior Pastor of Refuge Church, a multisite church serving the Tennessee Valley. Refuge Church has launched specialized campuses serving individuals experiencing homelessness and families affected by Alzheimer’s disease, established a free grocery market for food-insecure households, distributed more than 1.3 million pounds of groceries, and founded Rooms of Refuge to support children battling life-threatening illnesses. Refuge Church also partners with the Tim Tebow Foundation to host the Night to Shine Prom for individuals with special needs. As President of The Possible Project, Jason leads a global Christian nonprofit committed to humanitarian relief, leadership development, and sustainable community transformation. Motivated by his faith, his work has taken him into some of the world’s most impoverished regions, to bring lasting hope, practical resources, and leadership empowerment to underserved populations.

Jason has delivered over 2,300 keynote addresses, training sessions, and seminars. He is a Certified Maxwell Leadership Coach, Speaker & Consultant, and a Subject Matter Expert in Leadership at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. His leadership curriculum has been implemented in both public and private sector organizations. He has also served on numerous boards including the American Red Cross North Alabama, Downtown Rescue Mission, UCP of the Tennessee Valley, and the Alzheimer’s Association Mid-South Chapter. He is currently on the board of Lincoln Medical Center, a Huntsville Hospital Health System affiliate.

Jason has earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts, a master’s degree in Business Administration, a master’s degree in Divinity, and a doctorate in biblical studies. In 2025, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Leadership and Governance. He is also a Board-Certified Pastoral Counselor, Certified Mental Health Coach, and Advanced Certified in Human Behavior. A graduate of Leadership Huntsville Flagship Class 35, Jason is a three-time finalist for the Russell Brown Executive Leadership Award, a Athens-Limestone Chamber Executive Leadership Award finalist, and a member of Huntsville’s Committee of 100.

Jason and his wife, Jessica, have been married for 21 years and have three children. His leadership philosophy is rooted in integrity, innovation, and the unwavering belief that anything is possible.
