Motivational Speaker and entrepreneur, Debbie Agrusa loves to work with individuals and organizations from children to adults. Debbie has an incredible passion for helping others to increase confidence, believe in themselves, keep a positive mindset and go for their dreams. She reminds all that anyone who is successful has learned from many mistakes. It is the moments of disappointment that we learn the most from and how to move on. This is true in our personal lives and in business. From these experiences, we grow in strength which will give us purpose and save our lives.

While Debbie has spent her life using her energy to help others as a business owner, dance and performing arts teacher, professor, a mom, wife, volunteer and so much more, she never imagined she would use this incredible energy to help herself. As she kept her business open during COVID without incident, she went to sleep one night and had a major stroke while she slept. This unexpected incident affected the communication area of her brain. It took Debbie two years to learn how to speak, read and write all over again while she continued running her performing arts school. If that wasn’t enough, she had an aortic dissection 3 years after the stroke. Debbie was not expected to live either time but God had a different plan. As the resilient person she is, Debbie knew she was still here because her job was not finished.

Debbie’s students have learned numerous national dance championships, are on Broadway, national tours, film, tv and have won Grammys, Emmys and Tonys. They have performed with Bernadette Peters, Rich Little, The Jonas Brothers, The Four Tops, Raven, Corbin Bleu & so many others during the school’s 41 years. Her former students can be found at the top of whatever career they have chosen. And whenever someone tells you that is not possible , her students answer,“ Watch me”.
