Dean Baker is a international recognized sales expert, consultant, and speaker who has spent decades helping organizations improve performance by understanding the power of personality in business. His expertise centers on reading and selling to different personality types, managing employees with diverse personalities, effective delegation, and time management.

A consistent top-ranked salesperson throughout his career, Dean has built a reputation for producing exceptional results. His ability to identify and engage different customer personalities has allowed him to dramatically increase sales across multiple organizations. One of his most notable achievements came while representing a sports organization, where he grew annual sales from $150,000 to $2.7 million in just twelve months—a performance-driven approach he continues to replicate with clients today.

Dean’s talent for sales was evident early in life. Beginning with selling candy for his Cub Scout troop in second grade, he developed a lifelong passion for the art and science of selling. In 1985, he was entered into a national sales competition involving representatives from organizations across the United States, focused on mastering different personality-driven sales approaches—and he won.

A graduate of the University of Missouri, Dean earned degrees in Marketing, Speech & Communications, and Management. He later returned to the university as an Adjunct Professor, teaching Personal Selling and educating hundreds of students on the strategies and psychology behind successful sales.

Throughout his career, Dean has consulted with professionals from thousands of organizations, helping teams increase revenue, improve communication, and strengthen leadership effectiveness. His consulting work includes organizations such as the Boca Raton Resort and Club, and he has been invited to speak at institutions including Nova Southeastern University’s Law School.

Dean has also dedicated significant time to community leadership and philanthropy. He has consulted with more than seventy charities and spent over twenty years supporting organizations such as the Fort Lauderdale Sports Hall of Fame, Junior Achievement, and the South Florida PGA Section Advisory Board. Today, he serves as Vice President of the Florida Sports Hall of Fame and has participated in the planning committees of thirty-four celebrity golf tournaments.
