Dr. Soojin Jun is a board-certified geriatric pharmacist in the United States and a co-founder of Patients for Patient Safety US, a group of patient safety activists who have experienced medical harm directly or indirectly, committed to activating US healthcare according to the Global Patient Safety Action Plan 2021-2030 of the World Health Organization (WHO). She is also an artist, a coach, a speaker, and an entrepreneur.
After losing her dad to many gaps in healthcare as a foreigner, she changed her career from a videographer to a pharmacist. She speaks passionately about patient safety, trauma-informed care, patient rights, health equity, health literacy, the expansion of roles of pharmacists, and patient advocacy at the policy level. She is currently building Lotus Advocacy & Coaching, LLC, to heal the healthcare workforce so that patient safety becomes the North Star of healthcare naturally by building mental muscle of the workforce. She also coaches men and women building self-confidence by building mental muscles through positive intelligence coaching.
