Scott Weathersby is a resilience-driven speaker, entrepreneur, and advocate whose life story is a powerful testament to perseverance, purpose, and the gift of life. Based in Climax, Georgia, Scott spent much of his career as an industrial entrepreneur, building multiple businesses from the ground up, including Cedar Grove Construction and a successful hotshot trucking company.
In 2000, Scott’s life took an unexpected turn when he was diagnosed with leukemia. After undergoing a life-saving bone marrow transplant, he faced another battle with leukemia in 2004, followed by prostate cancer in 2010. These experiences didn’t slow him down—they transformed him. They reshaped his perspective, ignited a deeper purpose, and ultimately led him to dedicate his life to helping others.
Today, Scott is a certified personal trainer specializing in senior fitness, where he has helped individuals reclaim their strength, mobility, and independence—including stroke survivors regaining the ability to walk and perform everyday tasks. His work has been recognized in Bainbridge Living magazine and through invitations to speak at hospitals, community organizations, and the Rotary Club.
As the founder of Match Marrow Foundation Inc., Scott actively raises funds and awareness for leukemia patients, advocating for the life-changing impact of bone marrow donors. He is also the author of Scott’s Story: The Gift of Life Through Giving, where he shares his journey and message of hope.
Scott’s speaking career began from a deeply personal place—delivering a heartfelt tribute at his father’s memorial—and has since grown into a global mission. He has spoken on television, in hospitals, and internationally, including a recent speaking engagement in Cairo, Egypt.
