Elihu “Hugh” Baver is an American cultural historian, visionary non-profit founder, former Fortune 500 corporate sales management executive, professional baseball player, and international project leader. He is best known for his subject matter expertise and work, preserving the history of Sosua – the Jewish refugee settlement in the Dominican Republic created after the 1938 Evian conference and for his innovative baseball youth development programs in the US & Dominican Republic.
