EXPERIENCE:
DISCOVERING POP STAR “PRINCE”: At 22, Moon discovered and mentored the pop recording artist “Prince”, teaching him recording, production, songwriting and vocal craft while shaping the artist’s marketing, identity and signature themes (including the color purple). He authored Prince’s first hit “Soft & Wet,” wrote three of the four songs that secured a landmark Warner Brothers contract, and helped build the creative formula that turns raw talent into a cultural global legend. His keynote “Creating the Legend” distills those behind-the-scenes lessons into actionable strategies for branding, mentorship and creative leadership. OUR A.I. FUTURE: A leading optimist on artificial intelligence, Moon produced some of the first AI music, authored books, developed AI software, and created hundreds of AI-driven videos. He consults with organizations — including Babcock Ranch, America’s first solar-powered city — to translate AI’s potential into practical opportunity. His talks on “Our Bright A.I. Future” combine technical insight with a motivational vision of how AI can expand creativity, business and community. LIVING WITH LIONS IN AFRICA: As a filmmaker, Moon wrote, shot, scored and produced the PBS documentary “Father of the Lions”, chronicling the last years of world renowned conservationist George Adamson. The film — born from an audacious pitch for Moon to hand-feed wild lions in Africa — aired for over two decades on PBS. This project demonstrates Moon’s appetite for high-concept storytelling, adventure and immersive fieldwork. It chronicles how to take a seemingly impossible idea, secure funding and backing, execute and deliver a finished project in a field where you have no previous experience … all in a little over a year. FINDING MILITARY M.I.A.’s PAPUA – LIVING WITH HEADHUNTERS Founder of M.I.A. Hunters, Moon has led global missions to locate missing American WWII service members, often in extreme environments including living with headhunters in the jungles of Papua New Guinea to recoveries of American crash sites in remote locations in China. MIA Hunters has located more than 1,000 lost airmen and is recognized by U.S. military leaders as the top civilian organization in reunifying families; Moon’s work with MIA Hunters led to an invitations by the president to the White House. Chris Moon delivers inspiring, riveting and inspiring messages of hope, exploration, triumph and extreme adventure across a wide range of topics including Pop star discovery and branding, the changes coming, opportunities and creative potential of A.I., how to develop. fund and follow an idea to execution with no prior expertise, and leadership in extreme environments. He is available for keynotes, panels and workshops that motivate audiences to embrace bold ideas, practical creativity, and achieve dreams that seem impossible. Let Moon show you how to shoot for the stars!
