About Jessica Sanchez

Jessica Sanchez is a nonprofit founder, mental health advocate, speaker, and community leader dedicated to breaking barriers surrounding trauma, mental health access, and healing within underserved communities. As the Founder & CEO of Daughters of Both Suns, Jessica leads initiatives focused on culturally responsive mental health support, crisis intervention, resource navigation, and empowerment for Black and Latina women and families.

With academic backgrounds in Psychology and Public Administration, Jessica combines lived experience, advocacy, and systems-level understanding to speak on topics including trauma-informed leadership, resilience, community healing, women’s empowerment, mental health equity, nonprofit leadership, and turning pain into purpose.

Jessica is known for her raw authenticity, emotionally impactful storytelling, and ability to connect deeply with audiences from all walks of life. Her work has led to partnerships with healthcare organizations, universities, nonprofits, and community agencies throughout South Carolina and beyond.
