Pastor Clennie L. Wilkins, Jr. is a respected Christian leader, author, speaker, coach, and community advocate based in Zebulon, North Carolina. He serves as the Senior Pastor of The Kingdom Center, a non-denominational, multicultural ministry focused on teaching Kingdom principles and life application centered on Jesus Christ.
Early Life & Education
Pastor Wilkins is a native of Louisburg, North Carolina, born to the late Clennie L. Wilkins, Sr. and Irene (John) Young. He was raised with strong family values and faith, both of which deeply influence his ministry and leadership today.
He attended Louisburg High School and pursued higher education at North Carolina A&T State University. Later, he furthered his studies at Grace Christian University, equipping him with theological and leadership foundations that support his pastoral, teaching, and mentoring roles.
Ministry Leadership
Pastor Wilkins began his pastoral leadership serving as the Pastor of Second Baptist Church in Macon, North Carolina from 2010 to 2019, a tenure during which he strengthened the congregation and expanded ministry outreach.
In 2019, he and his wife Deborah Wilkins were blessed to plant The Kingdom Center in Zebulon, NC, where he currently serves as Senior Pastor. Under his leadership, The Kingdom Center has become known for its vibrant worship, teaching, discipleship, and community engagement.
Pastor Wilkins’ messages and ministry emphasize spiritual growth, Kingdom living, and practical application of biblical truths, encouraging believers to walk confidently in faith while addressing real-life challenges.
