Justin Goodman is a serial entrepreneur, suicide attempt survivor, and a leading voice in workplace mental health. Twenty-five years ago, before he ever launched his first company, Justin’s battle with mental health nearly cost him his life. He went on to build and sell his first company, then launched Total CSR, growing it into a training platform that has reached more than 70,000 professionals nationwide.
Justin is also the co-founder of Project 55, a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming mental health outcomes in professional environments. Through Project 55, he and his team offer the MHFR (Mental Health First Responder) Training, the most tactically advanced mental health training program ever offered to the public, completely free of charge.
The curriculum equips participants with practical skills for crisis intervention and support, including the E.A.G.E.R. framework for engaging in meaningful conversations, active listening techniques, motivational interviewing, and suicide prevention.
The program provides hands-on training for real-life scenarios such as anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, trauma, and substance abuse. Justin’s work has earned national recognition, including being named one of Insurance Journal’s 2024 Agents of the Year and a spot on Insurance Business Magazine’s Hot 100 list. He now travels the country speaking on mental health, leadership training, conflict resolution, and team building.
