About Scott Borsky

Cantor Scott Borsky is a prominent Jewish clergy member and community leader based in South Jersey, known for his innovative approach to spiritual service. After serving as a pulpit clergy for 28 years at various tri-state area synagogues, he transitioned from traditional congregational life to reach the broader spiritual community that may not belong to a formal house of worship. He is the founder of Synagogue Without Walls. Known affectionately as Cantor Scott, he is widely heard on his daily live morning radio programs on WWDB in Greater Philadelphia called “Morning Light with Scott Borsky” and Sundays, “Inspiration & Religion”. Plus, his many podcasts.

Beyond his religious activities, Borsky is deeply involved in community service and animal welfare. He serves as a police chaplain and hospital chaplain and has been an active member of local task forces. His commitment to helping others extends to animals through his organization, which provides food and support for pets of families facing financial hardship or illness. His work has earned him recognition as a “Patch Hero” for his tireless efforts to support the Camden County community, plus “Man of the Year” in South Jersey magazine.
