Coach Larry A. McKenzie is an author, speaker, John Maxwell certified speaker and trainer, and a six-time high school championship basketball coach. He is known for his work in inspiring and empowering young individuals to become champions in life.
Coach McKenzie has achieved numerous accolades, including being the first coach to win four straight state titles in the 100-year history of the Minnesota State Boys Basketball tournament.
He is also the first coach in Minnesota high school basketball history to lead two separate schools to multiple titles, namely Minneapolis Patrick Henry and Minneapolis North.
Coach McKenzie has a strong commitment to the community and has received awards for his service to young people. Additionally, he is the co-founder of the Above The Rim Youth Sports Foundation.
