Meet Paul Lloyd Hemphill, the multi-talented sensation hailing from Houlton, Maine, who has graced your TV screen, authored books, spoken eloquently, and wielded a camera like a boss.
Born in the mystical realm of the last century, he’s defied the odds and managed to steer clear of fossilization – quite the achievement for someone so in touch with the past.
After receiving his college degree with honors in philosophy and theology, he was drafted into the US Army.
While serving in Vietnam, he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal “for meritorious service” and received the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry.
After returning home and dropping out of divinity school after one day of classes, he began a lifelong career in marketing and advertising. He used his philosophical training in critical thinking to inspire his ability to write thousands of short and information-packed radio ads; he brings that same get-to-the-point style to his writing.
He converted one of his books to video and audio, INSPIRATION FOR TEENS, as a character development program for middle and high school students. The video version is named, AMERICA’S 52 STORIES.
All are based on America’s most written-about event from the past, the Battle of Gettysburg.
He has written 7 other books, is an accomplished videographer, and has produced and narrated 4 audiobooks.
