Angela Harrington Rice is a dynamic speaker, an author, spiritual leader, and community influencer with a career spanning over three decades in television and broadcast media. She is known for her work as a producer and host, particularly on programming that explores spirituality, personal growth, and community leadership.
Professional Career Angela has worked extensively in television production, including developing and producing series that highlight spiritual leaders and their journeys. She earned recognition as an Emmy Award–winning producer for her work on programs such as World Pilgrims: A Sacred Journey to Turkey. She formerly hosted A Woman’s Place, an award-winning talk show featuring notable local and national guests focusing on women’s issues and empowerment.
Angela is an ordained minister, and founder of One Love Spiritual Center, an inclusive spiritual fellowship welcoming people of all traditions. She is the founder of Widow Wings, a resiliency and support group for widows and Sistah Scribes, a collaborative writing and publishing group. Sistah Scribes has published two anthologies.
Angela is a published author. Her book Resurrecting the Lives of Liberated Women, a collection that pays tribute to inspiring women and reflects her commitment to storytelling and empowerment. She is a contributor to the series Shaking Off The Dust, published by Sistah Scribes Publishing. She is also a certified grief coach, bringing personal and professional insight into supporting others through loss.
She holds academic degrees in Mass Communications, African-American Studies, and a Master of Divinity (MDiv).
Angela was inducted into the National Association of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) Silver Circle for her exemplary service in broadcast media.
