I’m Britney Renae Thompson—author of God-Minded and Audacious Surrender, and a speaker who loves helping believers stop white-knuckling their way through life and actually trust Jesus (I know, wild concept).
For years, I wrestled with fear, doubt, and insecurity—even while loving Jesus and serving faithfully in church. God met me in that place, renewed my mind through His Word, and invited me into a life of audacious surrender. That personal transformation now fuels everything I teach.
Through Bible-centered teaching, honest storytelling, and practical tools, I guide Christians out of fear, doubt, and self-reliance and into the freedom, joy, and purpose that come from living fully surrendered to Jesus. My messages are rooted in Scripture, grounded in real life, and designed to create transformation people can actually live out—not just feel inspired by for a moment.
I’m not here to impress—I’m here to tell the truth, point people to Jesus, and create space for real heart change. My speaking style feels more like a meaningful conversation than a performance: warm, honest, and deeply grounded in God’s Word, while gently (and boldly) calling people higher.
With more than a decade of professional speaking experience and over 15 years in full-time Christian ministry, I’ve had the privilege of equipping believers through churches, ministries, retreats, and events. Whether I’m on a stage, in a small group, or across a coffee table, my heart remains the same—to make Jesus known and help others live fully alive in Him.
