About Daryl Richardson

Ms. Daryl Richardson is a Native New Yorker, a former dancer on stage, television, and film, Director.
Producer, Writer, Caterer, CEO, and Founder of The Me Nobody Knows, a self-published Author of three books on Amazon, entitled Careers From A-Z for early learners, Mentoring The Me Nobody Knows for students from middle school to young adults, and Poems By The Spirit for the Christian Community of Faith.

She was the Founding Director of The Allen Christian School Dance Academy from 2003 to 2012.

Ms. Daryl, as she prefers to be called, has appeared in Vanity Fair Magazine with Tina Turner, on Broadway in The Wiz, Sophisticated Ladies, Can-Can, and Anything Goes.

Her film Credits include The Wiz Movie, A Chorus Line (The Movie), The Mask, What’s Love Got To Do With It, Junior, Hoodlum, and Monster Mash.

She has toured with renowned artists such as Babyface, Barry White, and Earth, Wind & Fire.

Her television credits include The Academy Awards, The Essence Awards, The Soul Train Awards, The Emmy Awards, Cinderella, The Jamie Fox Show, The Drew Carey Show, The Arsenio Hall Show, and The MTV Awards with Prince.

Her Choreography credits are the Stage Play, Women Thou Art Loosed, which Tyler Perry directed, Deliver the Dance, and Children of God.

Ms. Daryl also choreographed her appearance in Paula Abdul’s Skat Kat Video, and she was Assistant Choreographer to the late Gregg Burge for Michael Jackson’s Bad Video.

She brings her professionalism and expertise back into her community to tap into a child’s natural talents, gifts, and abilities through her organization, The Me Nobody Knows Inc., which is a nonprofit organization that targets youth byway of Arts, Education, Mentorship, and Empowerment.

The purpose is to tap into a child’s unique gifts and talents, creating platforms for students to express themselves creatively.

Ms. Daryl has developed programs in over seventeen schools throughout the five Boroughs, and Principals and Guidance Counselors are constantly looking for opportunities to utilize Ms. Richardson for after-school programs, Career Day, Dress for Success Workshops, Dance Classes, Acting classes, and Assembly presentations, and for the stage through Professional Development for Self-care.

She believes in utilizing the entire physical, emotional, and social self of every child to foster a well-rounded individual, and for adults to manage stress in their day-to-day lives as educators.

Kiss FM Radio recognized her with the Phenomenal Women’s award for her accomplishments within her community, and she continually seeks to expand her boundaries.

She created a docuseries entitled “Behind the Stars…”

The Untold Stories of Black Industry Dancers is a platform for her Industry Workshop for aspiring artists.

She is also the proud overcomer of Breast Cancer and encourages women who are facing this disease.
