Disabled Navy Veteran-turned Master’s world champion and world record setter. Motivational speaker. On any day that ends in a “Y”, KaBoomer Koach Dave Frost can be found training others, teaching learners of all ages, or doing charitable work for both wounded warriors and underserved youth.
You may read about healthy habits for staying “Well Past Forty” by typing the phrase wellpastforty into a search engine. Try it. He writes regularly for accredited fitness organizations and for his own weblog @strongtosave.blog.
For his R&R, Dave writes academic papers about 21st century workplaces, enjoys the Vitamin D offered by Southern California weather while rowing competitively or trail-hiking, or sharing sea stories with his service pals and US Naval Academy alumni.
His first book, KaBoomer: Thriving and Striving into Your 90s was written for millions of beneficiary baby boomers, keying on Dave’s personal experiences and professional expertise. His second book, Strong to Save, was written for GenX folks who want to die harder and later – yup! His new book – Burden? or Banish! will be released in 2026. Yes – we can change the trajectory of our #1 killer- heart disease.
He is a Master Fitness Trainer, an award-winning adjunct professor, a proud Grandfather, a world-champion oarsman, and communications expert. * He loves to engage with audiences, both in-person and virtually, to share his comprehensive experiences and expertise about a degree in mind-body alignment, thriving and striving with practical habits, his 7-S Fitness framework, healthitude, and success in business and life. Many moons ago, he was an Eagle Scout, an Outstanding College Athlete of America (1975), and a decorated Naval officer in Cold War days.
More recently, he was a distinguished Adjunct Facult member, and recipient of the Craig Thrasher Service award fron the US Naval Academy. Yes, he is a mid-cycle baby boomer whose mission in a “third act” is to help others in science-backed and sweat-based ways. But more, he chooses to do those “little bits extra” to better his chances to party past ninety.
His mission and operating system shape his “talk the walk” almanac to help many others on their own journeys past Medicare age. Be Strong to Save! Be a KaBoomer! Be a big KAHUNA advocate to banish heart disease. Yes, we can!
