Jean Z Batty MPA is an accomplished Disability Advocate. She is the mother of a child born with a severe congenital birth defect who has broken all boundaries. A wheelchair athlete, her son has a perfect GPA at a major university while majoring in supply chain management and minoring in geography and German. Fearless, he has traveled to all 50 states and currently has independently visited 12 countries abroad.
Batty attributes her son’s remarkable outcome to a vision statement she wrote when he was three years old. This vision statement was used as a guiding light for countless IEP, 504, and medical teams as decisions were made throughout his childhood. Her son is now a self supporting adult with an exciting career path in his future.
