About Jeff Parnell

My background includes 30+ years in C-level roles across digital and direct marketing, consumer products, sporting goods, manufacturing, distribution, and B2B–including 15 years as a CEO. Today, I provide clients with Interim CEO; Fractional CEO; and Transition Executive services for businesses that need leadership and guidance with succession, exit, growth, and profitability.

My work is 100% focused on execution and results–and delivered from the perspective of a seasoned executive, as opposed to a traditional consultant. I’ve achieved 3x and 4x growth in two separate businesses, while growing a third business from 0 – $100 million.

In addition, I have guided companies through successful, time-sensitive sales of their businesses; facilitated the creation of an innovative, employee-centered ownership model; and led numerous leadership successions.

My unique “urgency without panic” approach is detailed in the upcoming book entitled “The Heart of Transition,” which will be available in early 2026. The book compares the challenges of business transitions to my successful recovery from a heart transplant in 2018.

Both processes require courage, resilience, and commitment, and most importantly, a “heard” for change. Sharing this perspective–and my victory as it applies to both life and business–is my passion!
