Dr. Joshua Shifrin earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts. He went on to complete his Master of Science in Educational Psychology and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in School Psychology at Northeastern University in Boston. After approximately five years of experience as a licensed school psychologist, Dr. Shifrin pursued his doctoral training at Florida State University, where he earned his Ph.D. in an American Psychological Association (APA)-accredited combined program in School Psychology and Counseling Psychology.

Dr. Shifrin completed his APA-accredited internship at The Andrus Children’s Center in Yonkers, New York. He is a licensed psychologist in both New Jersey and New York and holds multiple professional credentials, including Diplomate status from the American Board of School Neuropsychology, Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP), and ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP). He specializes in pediatric and school-based neuropsychological evaluations. Dr. Shifrin is also an avid writer and is the author of 23 books.

In addition to his clinical and writing work, Dr. Shifrin is passionate about helping students and professionals maximize their learning potential. Through engaging, research-based presentations, he teaches practical, empirically supported strategies to help individuals “Work Smarter – Not Harder.” Attendees of his presentations consistently report improved learning efficiency, enhanced retention, and increased productivity.
