About Julian Reeve
Former Music Director of ‘Hamilton’, Julian Reeve helps organizations sustain performance and strengthen culture during periods of change.
In 2017, after conducting a performance of ‘Hamilton’ in San Francisco, Julian experienced a stress-related heart attack. He was 43 years old. Years of workaholism, responsibility, and pressure in high-performance environments where recovery, reflection, and sustainability were rarely examined had finally caught up with him.
That moment led Julian to examine the cost of success-driven cultures and how ambition and performance can be sustained in healthier ways. What he learned shaped Perfect Equilibrium®, the methodology that guides his work today.
Now, Julian draws on a career spanning global performance, entrepreneurship, and leadership to help leaders and organizations build cultures where ambition, performance, and well-being can coexist. His work has been featured in interviews with ABC News, NBC, and CBS, and in articles for The Hill, Fast Company, and CEO World Magazine. He is a TEDx speaker, published author, and a member of HR.com’s Advisory Board for Employee Retention.
