About Karima McKenzie

Karima McKenzie is a wellness consultant, trauma-informed educator, and creator of the T.E.M.P.L.E.S. Method™—a transformative framework that helps high-achieving women and organizations reduce burnout, strengthen emotional resilience, and restore mental clarity. With 22+ years of experience in education and leadership, she has served as a teacher, athletic director, and Vice Principal in the Jersey City Public School system.

After experiencing a life-changing mental health crisis in 2021, Karima devoted herself to healing and personal transformation. That journey inspired her book, Temples Are Sacred and So Are You, which now anchors her signature courses, workshops, and resilience programs.

Through Temples Consulting, Karima empowers students, professionals and teams struggling with anxiety, overwhelm, and chronic stress. Her work helps clients regulate their emotions, realign with their values, and rise into their highest potential.

Karima has been featured in Chicago Weekly, The Discovery Pod with Eve Richards, and Houston’s KPRC 2 News for her leadership in emotional wellness and trauma-informed practices.

Karima’s mission is simple yet powerful:
To help others move from surviving to sacred living—one truth, one breath, and one transformation at a time.
