About Katie Hornor

Katie Hornor rose from poverty as a homeschooling ministry mom of five, during two decades overseas, to become a successful entrepreneur, award-winning coach and international speaker.

Today she is the CEO of The National Christian Association of Professional Speakers and is famous for the flamingo metaphors she uses to empower leaders, speakers, and business owners to design a life and business aligned with their divine purpose — creating more joy, sales and impact while standing out in their industry.

In addition to her work with the National Christian Association of Professional Speakers (NCAPS) Hornor has built 4 other businesses, is an award-winning business coach for high performing business owners, a TEDx speaker, and the author of over 90 titles, including The Flamingo Advantage: How to Leverage Unique, Stay Relevant and Change the World.

Named Visionary Coach of the Year by Insider Weekly, a recipient of the Stevie®, TITAN, and SUCCESS® Magazine Women of Influence awards in 2025, she has also been featured in top national news and on a Times Square billboard. Audiences call Hornor’s keynotes “brilliant,” “fun,” and “transformative,” and walk away inspired to take more excellent action with their messages.

Happily married to Tap for more than 22 years, she exemplifies the blending of family and business values with a joy that comes from living out your God-given purpose. She believes that “Life is too short to be ordinary,” and that “Doing what God has gifted you to do – in any industry – is not just a sacred duty, but sacred worship when done for the glory of God.”
