Luis Del Orbe is a passionate advocate for mental health and responsible gambling, serving as the Executive Director of the Council on Compulsive Gambling of New Jersey. Since joining the organization in 2018, Luis has been a dedicated voice raising awareness about the risks of gambling addiction and its impact on individuals and communities statewide.
He recently led the Council’s high-profile symposium series, “The Hidden Epidemic: A Public Health Concern,” aiming to increase understanding and proactive responses to gambling-related issues. Luis is also the creator of the Cognitive Perspective Restructuring (CPR) curriculum, a strengths-based program that empowers youth to make healthy decisions, develop resilience, and plan for their futures.
In addition to his advocacy work, Luis is the author of “Growth Ignited: A Journey of Self-Discovery and Empowerment,” where he shares insights on personal development, mental health, and resilience.
