About Robert Hamilton Owens

Robert Hamilton Owens is a global endurance athlete, leadership expert, and internationally respected speaker whose life demonstrates what is possible when grit, purpose, and faith intersect. A USAF Special Operations Pararescue veteran and one of the original Honolulu Ironman Triathletes, Robert has spent more than five decades testing the limits of physical, mental, and spiritual resilience.

His endurance achievements include completing 12 Ironmans, 20 marathons, the World Marathon Challenge (7 marathons on 7 continents in 7 days), a 238-mile run across Greece to benefit the Navy SEAL Foundation, and rowing the Atlantic Ocean in 43 days for Veterans Suicide Prevention. At age 66, he completed the 52-hour Navy SEAL Kokoro crucible and continues to push endurance boundaries well into his 70s.

Beyond athletics, Robert’s greatest impact has come through leadership and service. After military service and seminary, he founded and pastored a non-denominational church for 25 years, growing it from two college football players to more than 3,000 weekly attendees across two campuses. He also served 22 years as a university chaplain and launched a leadership and management consulting firm serving organizations worldwide.

Robert is the creator and longtime host of Leadership for Changing Times, a weekly leadership television program that aired for 23 years on a FOX regional station. He has advised CEOs, military leaders, government officials, and organizations in over 30 nations, delivering keynotes to audiences of up to 50,000.

His civic leadership includes 10 years as Chairman of the Nevada State Judicial Ethics Commission, advanced conflict-resolution training from Pepperdine Law, mediation work for the Orange County Court System, and a Doctor of Ministry in Leadership Development. Today, he continues to train elite candidates with the USAF Special Warfare Training Wing and previously coached with SEALFIT.

Robert Hamilton Owens inspires audiences to lead with courage, endurance, and faith — proving that sustained impact is built not just through strength, but through purpose-driven leadership.
