Dr. Sharon Shappley has spent over two decades shaping education across multiple settings, from award-winning early childhood programs to online learning for students and professionals worldwide. She began her career with Noah’s Ark, a Tennessee preschool, gaining early insights into child development, language acquisition, and the foundations of lifelong learning. At the same time, she taught business and tax software to private companies, blending education with practical skills—a hallmark of her approach.

Over the years, Dr. Shappley taught in public and private schools, homeschool associations, individual homeschool settings, and online programs, including students with special needs. In 2013, she embraced online education, allowing her to reach learners who had been underserved by traditional systems. The COVID-19 pandemic further accelerated growth for Sharon’s English Classes, leading to the creation of ELIS, an adaptive learning platform, and eventually Sharon’s Classes LLC in 2025.

Her programs focus on meaningful, practical learning—helping learners of all ages and backgrounds achieve mastery in English and Spanish, professional certifications, and academic exams. She is particularly proud of the Praxis 5624 course, designed to help teachers succeed where conventional preparation had failed, emphasizing clear instruction, flexible access, and measurable results.
