Zalak Raval is a speaker, writer, and corporate attorney who helps people recognize how unconscious patterns quietly shape their choices, relationships, and sense of direction—and how they can interrupt them with awareness, discipline, and self-trust. At 27, a convergence of personal and professional setbacks forced her to confront the gap between the life she was living and the one she was repeating on autopilot. What initially felt like failure became the starting point of a deeper inquiry into why so many high-functioning people feel stuck, disconnected, or misaligned despite outward success.
Drawing from psychology, philosophy, and lived experience, Zalak speaks with humor, clarity, and emotional precision about how early conditioning influences attachment, focus, self-worth, and decision-making. Her talks offer practical tools for catching unhelpful thought loops, reclaiming attention, and building the capacity to stay present through discomfort with clarity, agency, and self-compassion.
Zalak is a TEDx speaker whose talk, “Pole Dancing with Carl Jung,” blends psychological insight, humor, and lived experience to explore how what we call “normal” is often unconscious programming—and how awareness creates choice. She is also the author of 50 Shades of Shit: How to Unlearn and Re-wire Our Unconscious, a candid blend of philosophy, practical tools, and painfully funny true stories. When she is not speaking or writing, Zalak practices corporate securities law as a senior associate, bringing analytical rigor and grounded perspective to both the office and the stage.
