About David Anderson

Rev. Dr. David Anderson is a speaker, pastor, educator, and author who helps audiences think deeply about leadership, relationships, resilience, and the defining moments that shape our lives. Drawing on more than 30 years of leadership experience, he brings a unique perspective on communication, character, and the decisions that influence who we become.

Dr. Anderson currently serves as the pastor of First Baptist Church of Massillon, Ohio. Earlier in his career, he spent 10 years as a Chaplain and Religion Faculty member at The Lovett School in Atlanta, where he taught courses in ethics, world religions, and Scripture while mentoring students and young leaders.

He is also the founder of WeddingChaplain.com, where he has officiated more than 1,800 weddings and guided thousands of couples and families through some of life’s most meaningful moments. Those experiences have given him rare insight into leadership under pressure, conflict resolution, communication, and long-term commitment.

David is the host of The Wedding Chaplain Podcast and the author of Before God and These Witnesses, a book helping churches build marriage ministries that strengthen families and communities.

Through engaging storytelling, humor, and practical insight, David speaks to schools, churches, conferences, nonprofits, and organizations across the country, encouraging audiences to approach leadership, relationships, and life’s defining moments with greater clarity, courage, and purpose.
