Christian Speaker Proclaiming Faith and Freedom
Dr. Elsa John is an author, Bible teacher, speaker, and podcast host who helps women discover hope, healing, and freedom in Christ through the truth of God's Word. Through her ministry, Hope in Ink, and her podcast, Beyond the Silence: Confronting Culture, she addresses difficult conversations about faith, shame, trauma, and the cultural expectations that shape how we see ourselves and understand God.
Drawing from her personal journey through childhood trauma, grief, and years of struggling to reconcile what she knew about God's goodness with what she experienced in her own life, Elsa speaks honestly about the difference between knowing about Jesus and living in an authentic relationship with Him. Her message encourages women to move beyond performance-based faith, confront the beliefs that keep them bound, and discover the freedom that comes through the gospel.
Elsa is the author of HOPE: Guided Devotions for the Healing Journey, which received recognition at the 2026 International Christian Book Awards, and Ella Jo and Her Broken Joy, which won the 2026 Christlit Book Awards. Her forthcoming book, The Trauma Lens, is scheduled for release through Redemption Press in spring 2027. With a background in healthcare administration and experience as an adjunct professor, Elsa brings a thoughtful, compassionate approach to teaching and speaking.
Whether addressing women's groups, church gatherings, or conferences, Elsa wants to point people back to Jesus and the hope found in His Word. Her message reminds audiences that their past doesn't have to define their future, that healing is a journey, and that freedom in Christ is possible.
