Transformational Speaker on Leadership, Technology and Faith-based topics
Maurice L. Calhoun is a rare dual-operator: an enterprise technology leader with more than 20 years of Fortune 500 transformation experience, and a minister, sermonic poet, and keynote communicator. He is known as "The Architect" in the boardroom and "The Oracle" behind the pulpit, and his gift is helping people and organizations turn pain into purpose and purpose into performance. As Founder and CEO of Calhoun Global, he speaks to audiences who need both strategy and spirit.
His career took him from AT&T Bell Laboratories to IBM Global Services and Watson, where he served as Chief Architect and Program Manager. He later became a Manager Senior in Enterprise Solutions at Deloitte. Across healthcare and life sciences, financial services, telecommunications, government, and transportation and logistics, he has led multi-billion-dollar initiatives and teams of more than 300. His work includes a FedEx initiative with $6 billion in revenue impact and a state-level healthcare transformation in Georgia. He is TOGAF-certified and experienced in cybersecurity, cloud migration, and regulatory compliance.
Out of that experience, Maurice created Inspiration-Centered Leadership (ICL), a leadership system that aligns identity, systems, and execution so that organizations don't just perform better but transform sustainably. He brings ICL to life through rhythmic, story-driven keynotes and workshops. He draws on biblical narratives such as Moses, Peter, Jonah, and Joseph, along with candid personal testimony, to help leaders find healing, clarity, and calling. Whether he is addressing CIOs, pastors, ministry leaders, or emerging professionals, he moves between boardroom, pulpit, stage, and classroom with equal authority.
A self-described "Hope Dealer," Maurice is also a graduate-level instructor, author, and independent filmmaker. He shares his message through Calhoun Global and his digital content platform, GreatestinMe Productions and Inspirations from Walden Pond. He is based in the Atlanta metropolitan area. Maurice helps leaders build lasting organizations by first building the person inside the title.
