About Robert Hinchliffe

Robert Hinchliffe is a current elementary school principal, author, and speaker based in Las Vegas, Nevada, with more than 26 years of experience as an educator. He is actively serving in school leadership today, where he continues to lead, innovate, and shape what a high-impact public school can be for students, staff, and families.

Throughout his career, Robert has led multiple 5-star rated schools, guided schools that have earned distinguished recognition, and was selected to open Tyrone Thompson Elementary School in 2020. He was recognized at the Elementary School Principal of the Year in 2026 and as a practicing principal, he brings real-time insight, credibility, and firsthand experience to every audience he serves. He leads "the model of what a public school can and should be" while fighting the status quo daily, aiming to create an exciting school environment for stakeholders.

He is the author of multiple books including "More Than Just Teaching" which highlighted 25 teachers whose legacy will live forever. His latest book "More Than Just Assistant Principals" became available in March of 2026 and reached #1 on Amazon's List for New Releases. He has presented at various schools, districts, conferences, and even in Canada, bringing his energy to attendees inspiring them to make a bigger impact in our profession.

Robert is known for his presentation, "More Than Just Educators" where he inspires everyone in the building to build a legacy that can never be forgotten.
