Step 3: We Get to Work for You
Our team finalizes your speaker page and lists you permanently in the Bureau. From there, we keep you top of mind with event organizers by sharing your profile, highlighting you in communications, and actively building relationships with planners searching for speakers.

While your speaking business is still your business, we’ll do our best to create win-win opportunities for you.
What happens if you find a gig for me?
Great question! If we secure a speaking opportunity for you, we’ll help negotiate the deal. Our commission typically ranges from 10% to 25%, depending on what the event allows. This is handled on a gig-by-gig basis, ensuring it’s always fair and transparent.
How long will I stay listed on the platform?
This is a lifetime listing. Once you join, your profile remains live on our site indefinitely, so event organizers can discover and contact you at any time.
Do I need prior speaking experience to join?
Not at all. Whether you’re brand new or already established, the Bureau helps position you professionally and gives you the visibility you need to get booked.

Salem Speaker Bureau makes no warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied, regarding income, bookings, or specific outcomes. All fees paid for membership are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing. Participation in the bureau constitutes acceptance of these terms.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to remove or suspend any member from our platform at any time if we determine that their brand, conduct, or messaging is not aligned with our mission, values, or purpose, or for any other reason deemed necessary to protect the integrity of the bureau.
